Beech Wood Spirit King

Carved from a piece of fallen beech wood, rescued from a woodland floor. The tree it came from was Huuuuuuge, 23ft in circumference - an ancient tree by any sandard. It was surrounded by a post-war plantation in Lincolnshire [by an ancient lake]; its amazing to think that it is probably a sole survivor of an ancient woodland - i wonder how it managed to survive wartime preperations over hundreds of years
